Bee Davis
Bee Davis takes pride in all her responsibilities to our community, from volunteering as the East English Village Board Secretary for many years to chairing the neighborhood Welcome Committee for new residents. Bee serves as the East Outer Drive/Rosewood block captain, a role in which she connects neighbors to local resources and addresses their neighborhood concerns. As a MECCA board member, Bee hopes to play an important role in the movement to revitalize neighborhoods across Detroit.
Bee has been a resident of East English Village for over 35 years. During this time, she and her husband raised three amazing children and formed many lifelong friendships with
her wonderful neighbors. Friends describe her as loyal and dependable, a person who finishes every project (including home improvement) she starts. What Bee loves most about her community is the passion and generosity her neighbors share when they come together to make a difference in each other’s lives and for future generations.
Bee completed a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Cleary College. She enjoys gardening, sports, and spending time with her precious granddaughter and little Shih Tzu. As a long distance runner, she completed the Third River Bank Half Marathon and Detroit Free Press Marathon.
